Ah! No Rain No Water!
I wondered where has all the water, and hence the rain gone to, despite so many efforts being put into the restoration of water. But Alas! For a long time this very thing kept bothering me on and off the moments of my life.
It was after much digging and rattling of my brain that I found out the presence of water and its various sources was primarily dependent on the rains, that includes the groundwater reserves. This never ending rotation of water through the Water-cycle was the answer to it. But yet it seemed not near but far to find out a solution to it. Lest people start caring 'bout it more than their livelihoods.
Yes! A partial solution, though people only talk about it to an extent, I have sought to implement it whenever and however it may be feasible. The truth being that so much concrete and the so-called 'pucca' floors have been laid, that the water that used to recycle via the natural mechanisms has now been forced to go under this very earth. In addition, to add to this the water has no chance to get out of the way and reach the skies, so I thought 'Why not make it go the skies with whatever little I can do?'.
It was a more a realisation than action that led me to, initially think and do it. But if even a tiny population of the world, of the order of say a few hundred of the world's hue population, to begin with, joins me it will turn into the so-phrased 'Butterfly Effect'.
It is a hope that may give rains to even the driest of places of the world, be it any place in the world.
This was all about the realisation. Now comes the action.
The Action
What one needs to understand is that if we want to deliver the water to the skies we need it to be open to the very essence of evaporation. Let's see how we can achieve this:
1. If we have water that is worth wasting and it does not matter if we throw it onto the grounds, so why not throw it under the open skies, and give it space to evaporate, rather than let it go down the drains and further into the 'naalas' ?
2. Why not make an effort to make provisions for water to seep into the earthy ground when it collects on the roads after a downpour?
3. Why not let the water used to wash clothes be simply passed through a filter and then spread it on the ground, if not that make it available to the skies by letting it be there in the tubs or buckets, until the next day, so that it evaporates?
To begin is easy, but to continue is enormously difficult, but ask yourselves these questions and see if you can act on these.
Lets' make the world a better place to live.
P.S.: Do not be miscreants while taking up these and be good citizens by logically taking the action.
